iPod Touch 5G freezes while booting

Hello 🙂
I have got one problem with my iPod Touch 6G:
I've played a game and suddenly the device shut down. I thought it was too much for it and needs a short break. So after 5 mins, I tried to boot my iPod, but it only shows the white Apple symbol/ booting screen. I already tried different combinations like the Home- and Power-button in order to reset or pressing both volume-buttons to start the disc mode, but nothing works. Always the Apple symbol...
Hopefully one of you can help me/ has a solution 🙂

Try the remaining actions of:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Thank you very much, the DFU mode worked and now I can reset/update my iPod.
