I set my alarm in the morning and I made sure I phone was not on silent and that the ringer was all away up I also turn on the vibration so then in the morning when the alarm supposed to go off I checked my phone and nothing was happening so I click the home button it is so that the alarm is going off but there's no vibration or sound

It sounds like you had to wake your phone to verify that the alarm was going off but the phone was not making a sound or vibrating. I would start by quitting the Settings and the Alarm apps:
1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

Are you using a built in alarm sound? Or your own music? Some people have reported problems if they use their own music.
thanks to all who have put their knowledge into this discussion It turns out I had my music as my alarm so I set it to a system sound thanks again that fixed the problem
I certainly agree that, if Apple offers the option of using one's own music, the feature ought to work. You may want to submit feedback to Apple here:
Describe the glitch to them. The more people they hear from, the more likely the issues is to get attention.
