Word is gone from iMac

Just after Christmas, my iMac crashed. After it was fixed and was brought home, Word is no longer available on the Mac. Is there a way to retrieve the program, without purchasing it again?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)

Did you keep the activation code from the previous copy, because all you have to do is download another free copy from MS and activate it.

I did not get any documentation. I had the Microsoft Office installed at a Apple Store when I bought the computer.

Apple always provide the MS documentation. If you have lost it you will have to either contacts MS and try to locate your registration, or buy a new copy.
