my phone doesn't ring when getting calls texts or emails-phone shop can find nothing wrong and say its faulty?

Have you checked the mute switch along the edge, near the external volume controls?
Have you made certain that the volume is maximized?
Have you checked: Settings - Do not Disturb = Off?
Thanks that's sorted the problem. I've been given the used ifone with no instructions (never had smart fone b4)and even the tech guy in our local fone shop couldnt sort it-nice one thanks
