MacBook Air Screen - can anyone help save me hundreds of $$$??!

I do not know that this is because of water damage, but somehow the screen of my MacBook Air has two very colorful vertical stripes going down it. I will attempt to add an image here. This happened 36 hours ago. I had it open, all was working fine, then closed it and opened it just 30 mins later and this is what I've seen since. HELP!! I use this for work and am panicking! Any ideas? It's Sunday, and where I am, there is nowhere to take it right now.

I'm open to trying anything! Did something leak inside of my screen? I can size down a window, as I'm doing now to type this, into an are on the right side of the screen, but this won't suffice for very long. The entire keyboard is fully functioning... it's just something with the screen.
