iCloud drive synchronisation seems to put all files on all devices.

I am struggling to manage this. I have 150gb of pare space which I would like to store my personal files of about 80GB but they seem to have appeared on other computers.

Net result I am out of memory on Macbook air and main work desktop.

I still want iCloud drive for documents so don't want to turn it off, but I don't need all files on all terminals.

Is there way to chose the folders to synchronise?

eMac, Mac OS X (10.4.3)

iCloud drive doens't have 'selective sync'.

You can't choose what is copied to other Macs so you end up with everything everywhere.

The FAQ mentions 'all documents', but does not say how to have a selection…

A better option is Dropbox (or one of the many other sync services). It has the ability to let you choose what is copied to devices, other services do too.
