I have music on my computer synchronized with iTunes and my iPod and i want to erase it but not on my iPod. I've tried but each time, the music is erased on my iPod too. How can I do ? Pleaaaaaase help me

Buy an external drive large enough for your library (and some future growth) and move it there. See Make a split library portable for details. If you really must make space right now at least try to copy the files somewhere else so they can be restored if you were to lose your device. In practice if you remove files from your computer but leave the listings in iTunes then when you sync it will complain that there are missing files in the library, but it won't remove them from the device.
