my bluetooth headphones will not play sound from my laptop.

They are visitor bluetooth headphones. They show up for bluetooth but as a keyboard. They started working when I plugged another pair of headphones in and no sound comes out of the other headphones. When I unplug the headphones then the sound comes from the computer. I have no clue whats happening. Thanks
