About to sell iPhone 5, did I do everything right?

Hi,

This is mostly going to be rhetorical, but I want to make sure I have done everything I need to do in order to sell my old iPhone 5. I've gone through the lists & steps, but in my ultimate wisdom, I may not have done everything correctly.

I logged out of iCloud and turned off Find my Phone, then I removed all of the apps except of the standard ones through iTunes. While synced with iTunes, I then reset to factory. However, I did not do the erase step, thinking that the restore would do that. When I turn it on, it is like a new phone. Would this be okay to sell?

Yes, another reminder to practice patience, I know.
