However, when I tried to transfer it to my laptop, I cannot see this one video on the laptop from the iPad list. It shows and transferred everything else that I took on the iPad (other shorter videos and pictures) just not the one big one. How can I transfer it? Please help.

That seems to be a "feature".

You need to use some app like

Is there nothing else? I have a cable that connects from iPad to laptop to transfer everything. It normally works well. I'm concerned on doing your suggestion over WiFi. I know that before I made the video, I noticed I had 30 GB on my iPad so I knew I had plenty of room. However, now, I have less than 5 GB. It seems unusal that it took 25 GBs for this video. I had tried to upload directly to YouTube but I got the message that it was too large. Again, I thought that was unusal. If it is truly that large, I may have some difficulty with my Internet provider. Is there another alternative?

This data will not be flowing to your ISP. It will be flowing only through your router.
