I have 3 short videos that I tried emailing that are stuck in my iPhone 6's OUTBOX. They have been trying to send for over an hour. I can not delete them, "Edit" is not available in the Outbox. How can I get rid of these so mail will stop trying?

Can you swipe across the message in the preview of the outbox to get the red delete button? It's been a while since I have had an email stick in the outbox, so I don't recall if that's possible.

IF your email account is an IMAP account, try deleting the email on the Mac. Actions sync across devices in IMAP email, so they should be in the outbox on the server and you should be able to get to them in the Mac Mail app, of you use it, or in a web browser on the server.

IF that's not possible for some reason, try force closing the mail app on the phone and force restart the phone and then try again. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe to get to the mail app. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it

To force restart your device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
