Cannot make my Bootcamp disk valid for W8 install after formating in win setup, what is wrong?
Also i dont get the option to choose partion size before BC boots the first time...

OSX can renumber disks after discovery. Do you have a spare external disk of any size that we can test the same configuration with? How old is your 3TB disk?
Finally got it going here now, partitioned, started BT assistant, and closed it, and booted up from DVD, formated in win setup, got passed the format and install is currently on 84%, think it will work now, finally 😁
The RAID disk set may cause problems, but keep your fingers and toes crossed. Can you post the output of diskutil list disk3 (or the appropriate number) once you have Windows installed?
So far so good after finalizing setup, BUT theres one thing, the screen res is max 800x600, how can i fix this?

The Bootcamp drivers are not installed yet, so you are using the generic Windows display driver. For W7/W8.1, you can get the drivers from Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support for your specific Mac and download them to a USB. Run setup.exe from the Bootcamp folder from the USB.
Did now, and now it got even worse, down to 640, LOL
At least the card is detected as ATI and not windows graph.
Downloaded the latest Mac driver from AMD page, install finish and all ok, but no change in display settings, not even after restart.
Which AMD GPU do you have? What are the available resolutions in the Control Panel -> Displays?
One step further, when i try to open the AMD Catalyst control center, it tells me res is to low for this app, this is the app where i can change settings, pretty funny.
Btw, i got a ATI Radeon HD 4800, but cant find any other drivers for it.
Is it driver for Bootcamp i need, right? Still i dont understand how i can change settings when res is to low for the app to run

This is a upgraded Pro, looks like this
I have a industry ATI rendering card with 3GB also, but it boots up without any logo, thats why i put back this one.

Downloaded the BC assistant, but noticed its the same build as i already have from my BC installation, which i also run separatelly after from the usb, build 5621, so i guess theres no point running it again?
It may be easier to switch over to Windows. I will report you previous post and ask the hosts to remove the image with the serial number.
If you have used 5621 earlier, there is no need to run it again.
So what to do now?
I assume you have W7. Can you test this - Boot Camp Support Software 4.0.4033 ?
