Windows 10 no volume on pc

I am new to itunes. I just upgraded to windows 10. I downloaded the latest version of itunes. I downloaded some music and it appears I can play it but no volume. Other applications I can hear. I have tried an number or suggestions such as checking the speaker icon in the toolbar but nothing seems to work. Thanks

Try using Ctrl+B to enable the menu bar if hidden, then use Edit > Preferences > Playback and look at the entry for Play Audio Using. This will normally be set to either Direct Sound or Windows Audio Session. Changing to the other setting may help.
