Feb 14, 2016 3:15 PM in response to Reid Monroeby ChrisJ4203,While you can use numerous fingers, all you can register are 5 fingers. Also, there is no way to print out anything about your fingers. The information that is scanned is not an image, but a digital rendering of your fingerprint and the device can interpret this information to unlock your device.

Feb 14, 2016 3:15 PM in response to Reid Monroeby modular747,You can store a maximum of 5 fingerprints at a time. They can't be printed or accessed in any other way except for touch ID

Define "we."
No 3rd party apps can access the fingerprints, for obvious security reasons.

Feb 14, 2016 3:28 PM in response to Reid Monroeby ChrisJ4203,Your fingerprints are encrypted and stored in a special section of the processor that can only be accessed by Touch ID, and nothing else. Apple would not provide any outside app access to that, as it could compromise the device. Your wish for something that would allow you to print out your fingerprints is not going to happen, at least in my opinion given Apple's dedication to security in this case.

The fact that the phone does not store fingerprints in a way that they could ever be printed out is for your protection and security. See this article:
About Touch ID security on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support
Get yourself some fingerprint ink. Take your finger prints, photograph them with your phones' camera. You can then do what ever you need or want to do with them. It seems unlikely that any apps exist as it would be difficult to take a proper picture of your fingerprint without something to make the print show up. However, search the App Store for "fingerprint" and see what happens.

Feb 14, 2016 3:34 PM in response to modular747by Reid Monroe, aloha, lol "we" means the human race, anyone with the knowhow to do such a thing, we are all one, surely one of 7 billion out there can, peace

Feb 14, 2016 3:38 PM in response to Reid Monroeby modular747,No one has this knowhow because Apple specifically and emphatically disallows it. This is blocked at the hardware level. In fact, substituting unauthorized parts in order to do that will end up with a permanently disabled phone (error 53).

Feb 14, 2016 3:41 PM in response to modular747by Reid Monroe, lol apple disallows it, yes they do but only in their software, but its not impossible to create it to use outside their hangups. I am just looking for an app that does, it doesn't have to be apple's software.

Feb 14, 2016 3:44 PM in response to Reid Monroeby modular747,Read again. This is blocked at the hardware level. No other software can access the fingerprints, even on hacked/jailbroken phones. No amount of wishful or magical thinking will change that.

Feb 14, 2016 3:44 PM in response to Reid Monroeby Meg St._Clair,Do a web search for "Error 53" and you'll see why it's not wise to mess with Touch ID.
