1 email stuck in outbox - how to remove it?

It worked for me. I had an email stuck in my iPhone 6 outbox for over 2 weeks due to large media attached. I could not delete it by sliding the email to left nor I could use the edit button. Edit button was greyed out. Then I followed as was suggested here. Turn the phone to aeroplane mode and shut off. Once you reboot in the aeroplane mode you will be able to delete the stuck email as long as you are in the aeroplane mode.

Go to airplane mode, so the email will stop trying sending the email. And from there you can delete your unsent email. If the circle still moving even though you already switch on the airplane mode, try restart your phone. It works for me. Good luck!

TThis worked for me and while it may be intuitive for most, just remember make sure when you turn your iPhone 6 off that it is in airplane mode. the first time I turned it off, it was not in airplane mode which of course didnt work.....duh! 😮

Thank God! Thanks for your help! After about a month this finally did the trick! I worried that the constant spinning was eating up my battery, continually using data, etc. Now it's successfully deleted.

Go to airplane mode, so the email will stop trying tp send the email. Restart your phone in airplane mode, and from there you can delete your unsent email. It works for me. Good luck!
