Hey LM1988,
If I'm right, you'd like to know how to "sync" or transfer your content from both iPhones to your newer iPhone. If that's the case, you can check out this support article from Apple: Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support.
I hope this helps!
John
You cannot transfer content from two different devices to one device. You can restore the device from a backup of one of the other devices, or you can use an iTunes Library that both of the other devices have been sync'd with to set up the new device, by setting up the new device via an iTunes sync:
iTunes 12 for Windows: Sync iPod, iPhone, or iPad
iTunes 12 for Mac: Sync iPod, iPhone, or iPad
Best of luck,
GB
there must be an easy way😟
i have backed both my 16gb iphones on icloud and itunes, but just dont know how to transfer my content from both my iphones to my newer iphone which is 64gb.
I'll phrase gail from maine's correct response in a slightly different way.
If the two 16GB iPhones used the same Apple ID and they each had some different purchased material from iTunes; e.g., one old iPhone had a few iTunes-purchased songs and the other old iPhone had some different iTunes-purchased songs, then as Gail stated, you could place all the iTunes songs into your iTunes library and thereby have them ready to move to your new larger iPhone.
But aside from that, as gail from maine states, "you cannot transfer content from two different devices to one device."
What type of content exactly are you talking about that is uniquely on one of these old iPhones?
they both have different apple Ids aswell. only things which i want to keep are the photos, contacts and the notes i have on the phone, besides these i dont need anything else. what should i do?
Hi
If both iPhones are using the same apple ID go to settings - iCloud - backup now
Then set up new iphone using same apple ID & iCloud back up .
Cheers
Brian
Rather than thinking of your old iPhones as the source of photos, contacts and notes, instead make your computer the source of these things. If you have all your notes, contacts, and photos on your computer, set up in the right holding area (e.g., iCloud for your contacts - but, of course, using exactly one Apple ID), then you would simply set up your new iPhone based on what it finds on your computer.
