I Have a Canon Mp240 series printer does anyone know the correct drivers for os x el capitan?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), delivery 2-3-2012

Have you tried an internet search on the canon website., if not see this.

you may be able to use Vuescan, software that may support your printer, but you do have to pay for it.

This is available from the Apple downloads sites.

from the many Canon printers supported by this I didn't see the MP 240 listed but the MP 230 and 250 are

so you may as well give it a shot, won't do any harm.
