Am I able to connect my Hearing Aids with Bluetooth to my iMAC

I have ReSound hearing aids with Bluetooth capability. I am able to use Bluetooth on my iPhone, but I can not get it to sync with my (iMac (27-inch, Late 2013). I have the Resound App on my phone and I was told that I need only to pair the hearing aids with my computer and I would be able to hear the sound on the iMAC. So far the Bluetooth installed on the iMAC is unable to pair my hearing aids. Any Ideas??
