Q: Impossible install Windows 8.1 x64 whit optical disk drive external.
Hello good apple distinguished community, I have had problems when trying to install Windows 8.1 x64 on my iMac using boot camp and optical disk drive external. I have a Windows 8.1 x64 iso and burn it on a blank DVD, iMac recognizes as well and bootcamp. Boot camp does well the partition, but when the imac restarts a black screen with a blinking cursor appears like this:
And nothing happens. I use optical disk drive external because my superdrive is death. Thanks for the help.

Was the Optical drive removed or is it not working?
