Q: deleted content

I understand that you are no longer seeing your browsing history in Safari and you would like to recover some deleted text messages. 

We’ll start with your iPhone’s Safari history. Is it possible that Private Browsing was enabled by accident? If Private Browsing is enabled, try turning it off and see if your history comes back.

To recover deleted text messages, you can restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup (if you have a backup from a date where those messages were on the device). Keep in mind that content added to your phone after the backup date you restore from will possibly be removed.
