play back not working.....

I rented a movie last night and when I press play to watch it, the screen stays Black even though the playback timer is running. I tried to play movies and TV shows already in my library and they will not play either. My iTunes says it is up to date. It seems like a playback issue. The file is "running" but there is no picture and no sound. Does anyone have any experience of this or advice on how to fix it so I can view my library.

Hello garyhins,
I understand that you are having issue with a movie that you previously rented. I know that it might be to late to play it properly, but you can report the problem to the iTunes Store. They can look into what is going on to take care of this for you. Take a look at the article below to walk you through how to do this.
