Q: Save photos from icloud at PC

Hi guys, my last back up from iphone (4s) to icloud was on May 2014.After that it said I need more space to back up. I don't use it too much in order to buy more space, and I suppose the space is occupied by backed up photos only. How can I save these photos to my windows pc from icloud to empty the space? Thanks

PS I also posted this question before but there was no answer. Could you please let me know how to find them and then copy them to my PC? BR, Alkistis

    Howdy Alkistis GR,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

I see you'd like to save your photos stored in iCloud Photo Library to your Windows PC.  For help with this process please follow through the steps below.

Download your photos and videos from iCloud Photo Library

New photos and videos you add to iCloud Photo Library will automatically download to your PC. You can also download your collection by year when you follow these steps:

    1. Open a File Explorer window.
    2. Under Favorites, click iCloud Photos.
    3. Click Download Photos.
    4. Choose the photos and videos you want to download and click Download.

Your photos and videos download to the location you set in iCloud Photos Options.

Set up and use iCloud Photo Library on your Windows PC

    Cheers.
