Trying to clean up files, documents & downloads. When I got on this morning there were 'recovered files' back in my trashcan. Pulled them out and this was one. Can I safely delete / trash this? What is it?

What is it?
A Microsoft Word file, apparently, perhaps an unreadable temporary file used by that program. You might try opening it with Word, but assuming you are not missing any documents you can safely delete it.
