my macbook gives me electric shock while i charge it even when i use the 3 plug in earth charger.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), macbook 15 inch retina late 2013 ,c

Fires can be caused when electricity is not properly grounded to the main feed, and does not have a proper path "to earth".


The 3-prong cable is supposed to use the house ground to take all sparks. You can also buy a $10 testing-block at the hardware store. Just plug it into the outlet in question and if the lights are not "as expected" an electrician should be called in.
