Sorry, but your issue has nothing to do with Apple networking. You may have better results getting a potential solution if you re-post to the iPhone area of the Apple Support Communities.
Text messages are retained in your iPhone's backup (in either iTunes or iCloud).
You can restore this latest backup and get the messages that were current at the time the backup was created. Of course, everything on your iPhone will be returned to the state it was in when the backup was created.
This is the only way to retrieve old texts. If they are not in a backup or you do not restore this backup, they are lost forever.
