Q: Who's the ***** who replaced zip codes with "United States"
So i use calendar for my daily client schedule. Recently I made the mistake of upgrading OS (Always a mistake with apple these days) and now have a MAJOR problem with the location field.
Some ***** at apple decided to replace the SUPREMELY HELPFUL zip code with "United States" when I enter an address and the ap auto completes the rest. I have tried overriding it and not selecting from the pull down list of options that displays when I start typing in an address, but it reverts on its own.
Have to say replacing a very precise piece of data for something so broad as United States is one of the stupidest things Apple has done lately (Unfortunately apple doing stupid things is all too common PJ {Post Jobs}).
I have driven to the wrong address multiple times as large cities like LA often have more than one street with the same name. Getting a zip code was a great way to avoid that problem, but some moron decided to get rid of the zip code data and the ap has no preference option to add back in the zip code.
Getting pretty sick of apple doing these sort of stupid things that would have never happened before (Ex: deciding to make the progress bars go to 100% right away independent to how much progress has actually been completed).
Anyone know a work around? The only advice i get from apple is to downgrade to an older OS (Great work there apple. Train me to not trust and avoid your new OS. Splendid idea, NOT).
