i just order an iXpand from Sandisk, i can use it on my iphone but not my ipad. on my ipad when trying to open a vido i get the message. Your input can't be opened. VLC is unable to open the MRL ......
any help fixing?

but it works on my iphone. i am not using a computer. just my ipad. i downloaded movie to the ixpand. i downloaded the app associated with the iXpand.
it works fine on iphone, just not ipad air. does ipad air have a firewall? i am a novice, please excuse. but the movie was downloaded off a PC and plays fine on phone, just not on ipad air. is there a 'security' setting somewhere i need to adjust?
i get movies from a friend and it is nice not to have to go thru itunes to play them and play them off a thumb drive. my itunes account is on a work pc and i don't have access to it while i am not at work.
