I will try and explain this the best I can.
If I have a midi bar or a piece of audio selected on any channel, when I try to scroll backwards or forwards through the rest of the track it always resets back at the start of whatever I have selected.
It never used to do this and I have no idea what I have changed. I would point out that this only happened upon the last update of Logic.
Any ideas how to disable this function?
Try this...
Right click on the play transport control and uncheck play from selected region

It happens even when not playing. For instance, I have a piece of audio selected at bar 94 and I try to scroll back to bar 1 it automatically jumps back to bar 94 as soon as I take my finger off the mouse. Basically, whenever the selected item goes off screen it jumps back.
So frustrating.

Yeah, like the region you have selected at 94, if I have that selected and I try and scroll to left, it jumps back to bar 94 as soon as I take my finger of the mouse.
