Family Sharing

Hi, I'm trying to download movies that another family member purchased via family sharing. However each time I attempt to watch the movie it says "this movie is no longer available through family sharing". Has anyone else encountered this? If so, is it an error or are movies truly unavailable through family sharing? Thanks.
