hi,
my imac wont turn on anymore. if i press the on button the mac beebs 3 short and 3 long and 3 short after the beeb the cd/dvd tray makes short noise. I thought it was de vram battery and ram. i di change the both. i used some key combinations lice command + option + r + p. it did not work. after that i take te plug of and i pressed the on/of for smt reset.
is there any other solution that i can use?

hes i have checked that link and i did make efi recovery cd but i wont boot with the cd i have used. i pres the correct key for booting it.
I only know what I read in the link. According to what it says you should not need a boot disc for your 2009 computer, it should do it automatically. I don't know if this requires being connected to the Internet.
yes that's true. it was connected to the internet, but did'nt work. that's why i made a efi recovery disk
