Q: starting songs over in a music playlist

I use my Iphone to play music for a choir group- the problem I am having is sometimes I need to start a song over and it wont let me without clicking on another song and then going back to the original one I want.  I need the back button and next button to show on my phone its not im sure its a setting somewhere.

    Hi Tlane23,

    Thanks for your question.  It sounds like you just need to enable the Now Playing screen and controls to see the control options that you want.  In the song that is currently playing, you can slide the red vertical playhead to the beginning of the song.  Or, you can tap the repeat icon twice to repeat one song.

    Using the new Music app

    Play your music

         

    When you play a song, you see the Miniplayer at the bottom of the screen. You can keep browsing other titles to find the perfect next song.
     

    Or you can tap or swipe up on the Miniplayer to see the Now Playing screen and controls. Tap the   in the upper-left corner or swipe down to close the Now Playing screen.
     

    Shuffle or repeat your music

    Tap   at the bottom of the Now Playing screen to shuffle the songs in a playlist or album. You can also ask Siri to shuffle your music.

    Tap   once to play an entire playlist or album on repeat or twice to repeat one song.
