Q: IOS 9.2.1 Problem

I finally downloaded the update because I had heard about the problems and I was tired of the reminders.  Well, I have one of the problems and I'm not too happy about it - my touch sensitivity is messed up.  Doesn't work 1/2 the time.  Go to "slide to unlock" and it takes many touches.  Also when entering my passcode....sometimes it doesn't even accept the # when entered.  The circle is blank - not filled and that can take a few tries.

This is getting REALLY frustrating and it didn't happen till I downloaded 9.2.1 and these are the problems I was warned about, so it's not a new problem.  I also have a 5C.

How do I fix this??

If your problems started with iOS 9.2.1, then what troubleshooting have you tried? User troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory. Test after each step. If necessary to get all the way to restore to factory, test the device before adding any additional content to the device. If it works alright, then the problem could lie in your backup. You can also take a look at this support document regarding troubleshooting touchscreens, and see if any of that helps. Thanks Chris -  yes it started after the 9.2.1 download and other friends have had the same problem after that download.  The only thing I haven't done is the restore to factory, which is the next step for me.  Have done it before, will do it again.  And I should have been more clear...swipe to unlock and actually enter password are the main issues as far as the touch sensitivity goes.  Well here's to restoring!!

    Again, thanks!!

If the trouble started then, if you have already restored to backup, then I would restore to factory. Sounds as if something may be corrupt in your backup. While I've read of others experiencing issues immediately after an update, you find that with any of the updates. If a restore to factory removes the issue, then try restoring your backup again. If the problem returns, then the issue is in your backup. Good luck.
