On Mac notebooks with non-removable battery

Mac notebook computers that have a battery you should not remove include: MacBook Pro (Early 2009) and later, all models of MacBook Air, MacBook (Late 2009), and MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015).

To reset the SMC:

1. Shut down the computer.
2. Plug in the MagSafe or USB-C power adapter to a power source and to your computer.
3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

On MagSafe power adapters, the LED might change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

ZipCloud is adware. You need to uninstall it according to the developer's instructions. You can find them here. I don't know what MEGAsync is, but a quick search in Google doesn't look promising. This thread tells you how to uninstall it --> what is mega sync

You didn't uninstall it properly, there are still pieces of it although they're not loaded. Try MalwareBytes http://www.adwaremedic.com/index.php

You have to uninstall things according to the developer's instructions. In order to remove it properly, you now have to reinstall it, then uninstall it according to the directions provided in the link I gave you.

The CPU usage in your EtreCheck clearly shows where the problem is. Are you using Google contact syncing? People in this forum (http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/constantly-high-cpu-usage-soagent-callservic esd.1894835/) reported that disabling Google contact syncing resolved the problem.

I did that same that Bart did.. clean install, Macbook air late 2010, and have fan going crazy... removed google (even if it was inactive in the system preferences) but no improvements. Fan goes, never stops and I don't have many things loaded.. I wonder if Office 2016 could have caused this or 10.11.3??

This is my Etrecheck.. not happy about the 15 processed killed due to insufficient RAM.. I can't upload RAM on my mac.. 😟
