Feb 17, 2016 4:56 PM in response to lllaassby StaceyMerr,It just keeps restarting itself over and over. I've tried completely turning it off and letting it sit. When I turn it back on it just turns blue and gives me that message and continues to restart.

- Try starting in Safe Mode

- Boot to Recovery and repair the startup disk

- If it is repairable reinstall the OSX
How to reinstall OS X on your Mac - Apple Support
- If you do not have a backup use disk utility to restore the internal disk to an external disk so you can try to recover data.
Then format the startup disk and do a fresh install of OSX
Recovery is only for Lion and above. If you have Some Leopard then use an install DVD instead.

Feb 17, 2016 6:08 PM in response to StaceyMerrby StaceyMerr,Thank you for your suggestions! Unfortunately, I've tried restarting pressing shift and restarting pressing command r and the computer still boots up with the blue screen but instead of restarting repeatedly it freezes.
