Why wont Garageband share my song to itunes?

I use Grageband '11 on my MacBook Air and I have been struggling with this for days now. My Garageband begins its download fine when i try to share to itunes but never seems to get pass its converting stage of the process. It keeps loading and loading(Im saying it would keep buffering all day if I let it be) so im forced to force quit the application. I tried restarting my computer but that didn't work. I also tried sharing several different files but those didn't work either. I was wondering if its because I may have and old version of Garageband or some other technical issue with my computer. Can someone PLEASE help me figure this out?

Do you have enough free disk storage on your system drive? At least 10 GB, better more? If not, GarageBand may not be able to bounce the file.

Sharing directly to iTunes is hanging since the last iTunes update for some systems. As a work-around, try to share the song to a folder on the disk, then use the "Add to Library" menu entry in iTunes to import the new song to iTunes.
