Q: Since upgrading to El Capitan can't eject drives

I find myself unable to eject flash drives and hard drives. I'm a photographer and regularly have to load flash drives for clients, this is usually a quick plug in, copy photos, eject and move onto the next thing.

I can't be shutting down my MBP every time I need to eject a flash drive, it is incredibly frustrating and honestly disappointing that this wasn't picked up in testing.

People are saying it has to do with Spotlight, but I don't really care what it has to do with, it's not a complicated fix, is this ever going to be sorted out ?
