Q: Publish Slideshow to the web from my MacBook Pro.

I've made an iphoto slideshow for my daughter's 21st on my Macbook Pro. I've successfully exported the slideshow to itunes. Can anyone show me how I can now publish the slideshow to a webpage? I read elsewhere that an ipad can publish a slideshow to a dedicated icloud webpage. But a macbook can not? Any help appreciated.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

Easiest" add it to YouTube or Vimeo or similar. Other than that do you have an actual website?

What system and iPhoto versions are you using?

If you have iPhoto 9.6.1 and have imported the slideshow file back in to the library you can share it via a Shared Album.

    iPhoto003.jpg

If you create a Public Website you don't need to add email addresses.  Just publish the shared photo stream, go to it in the iPhoto library's Shared/iCloud section and click on the URL in the info pane at the right for the URL for the website:

You'll be taken the the website in your browser where you can copy the URL and send it to whomever you want to share it with.

Note:  If you're using Photos instead of iPhoto you can do the same.
