which application for Capitan? Stream clip is dead, my sorrow is just quality of the output, I need just one input format and best quality on output.

Looks good, though from the manual: ‘EditReady accepts les in the QuickTime MOV, MP4 and M4V formats, as well as MXF les from most cameras that record to the MXF format. In addition, it supports les in the AVCHD and HDV formats, which generally use the M2T, MTS and M2TS extensions. ’

Shane, Mine is not running on Capitan. The old PB does it, though this PB late 2007 is merely gone over with battery and keyboard.

Shane that is helpful for me because it reinforces my own view.
