How to enter a foreign contact in Address Book?

Hi,

How do I enter a foreign contact in Address Book, without affecting other domestic contacts?

I go Card>Add Field>Template>General and change the country, but it acts on all contacts. How do I do it selectively?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

Launch Contacts.

Open the card.

Click the "Edit" button at the bottom.

Scroll up the page.

Click "home" address field.

Hover the mouse pointer over "Change Address Format".

Choose the country from the popup list.

User uploaded file

Click "Done".

If you want to reset it, scroll up to the top of the list of countries and choose "Reset to default".
