Mar 9, 2016 12:41 PM in response to Eric Rootby Pamela Powers,I did everything and I'd be hopeful and then it'd pop up. This is on the IMac, and then my laptop started acting up but differently. MacKeeper got on there as dd another. MacKeeper was easy to trash fortunately. And as I went to find the other one that wanted me to buy service on the cloud, the options said "uninstall" and so I went there and others were upset that when they too went to trash it it said it was open when it wasn't. The video there had no sound but someone was kind enough to say hold down command+option+escape and that would lead to force quit then it could be trashed!…Ok, those two cleared that up. Which led me to go thru my programs and trash anything that looked suspicious.
When I came back to the IMac and trashed a few suspicious apps/programs, one was something like adbloc, and keep your fingers crossed, so far so good it seems to have cleared it up. Unless Apple got in there and did something. This wasn't the same ransom type hacking, but maybe they did something. Regardless, I think it's fixed and hopefully I won't be coming back to say otherwise. Thanks to all who helped!
