Q: Podcasts app pauses playback randomly

iPhone 4s 16GB

iOS 9.2.1

 

the situation is already precarious since the phone is old.

 

but the random pauses during playback makes me feel like throwing the phone thru the window.

 

please do something about it. if I wanted a phone where I would expect stupid behaviour, I would not have bought an iPhone.

    I'm also having this issue on an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.3.1.  Both my Podcasts app and Music app will randomly pause while I'm listening.  This is typically while I'm driving.

     

    I've experienced this both with an audio jack in the phone, and when playing via bluetooth.

    It happens both when I'm using the map and when i'm not.

     

    This morning my podcast paused itself 3 times in my 40 minute commute to work. 

     

    Anyone have a fix? Is your phone still giving you trouble?
