Feb 28, 2016 9:27 PM in response to yman1by JAD-MACuser,My iPad Pro purchase and accompanying accessories has been a horrible experience. I too lost the female to female adapter, which admittedly was my fault, I spent over 45 minutes with Support, Sales, and Apple Care trying to obtain (yes pay for a new adapter), no one was any help and I was told they do not sell the adapter seperately, did not have a part in the system for sale, and that I would have to buy a new apple pencil to get the adapter !! The adapter makes the pencil chargeable on a plane without impaling the person sitting next to you or sticking out in the aisle. Does anyone know who else in apple to contact?

Aug 14, 2016 1:53 PM in response to yman1by Gary Watson1,It's Apple P/N 923-00817 and costs about five bucks plus another five for S&H from Apple Care. Amazon sells a USB to female Lightning connector cable in case that's easier (also 10 bucks).

TechMatte Apple Pencil Lightning Cable Charging Adapter for iPad Pro Female to Female Connector (.75 Inches) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JGBVRE6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_AvVWxb937K97Z
it costs $10.99, but worth not going through the hassle in my opinion.
