Q: Why does Pages re-download documents every time?

OK, I've been dealing with this problem on both my iPhone and my iPad ever since Pages was released.   Nearly every single time I open Pages, ALL my documents are not able to be opened and need to be downloaded from the cloud again.   This is so frustrating - I want it to download copies from the cloud and just keep them there!   On top of that, despite having an excellent internet connection, it takes an extremely long time for the documents to download again (sometimes a few minutes for even a 1-page document.)  Sometimes, I need a document on the fly, and I'll open it up....but then it takes an hour to get every document downloaded and it won't let me choose which ones to download first so that I can get what I want.   Because of this, I barely use Pages, but I'd love to use it if it would just stop deleting the file content every time!

So I know I'm venting major frustration, but at the same time, is there anything I can do to keep Pages from purging my document data every time?  What's the reason why it does this??
