Printing problems Windows 10 to iMac

After downloading "Bonjour for Windows" my WIndows 10 Laptop finally connects (in my printer dialog box my iMac is shown) with my printer connected to my iMac (Yosemite) which I have activated sharing. However when it prints, the page is blank. I was trying to print a test page for my Canon MP280 printer via my Windows10 laptop but still it's blank. The printer activates so there is a connection but it prints blank pages for all print jobs. Printing from my iMac is fine.
