I understand that you are wanting to know what is taking up all the space on your iPhone. Let's see if we can figure out what is going on.
The best way to figure this out is to look at the storage on your iPhone or on with in iTunes itself. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage to see a list of apps that are taking up space. Now if you are not seeing things add up, you can use iTunes to view a break down. Now if you see Other, then you are dealing with cached files and those will be removed when needed.
