iTunes
See turingtest2's user tip on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates - the iTunes Installers section provides links to download current and previous versions without using Apple Software Update or going through the standard iTunes download web page.
- If you're running Windows 7 or later, you should download the current version (12.3.2.35) of iTunes, selecting the 32- or 64-bit version to match your PC.
- If you're running Windows Vista, you should download iTunes 12.1.3.6, selecting the 32- or 64-bit version to match your PC. You should also plan to upgrade your OS or to replace your PC in the immediate future, since Microsoft will end all support for Vista in just over a years' time.
- If you're running Windows XP, you should upgrade or replace your PC as soon as possible, as support for XP (including patches to fix security issues) ended nearly two years ago. If you can't do so, or are willing to accept the risks of running an increasingly insecure OS, you should download the 32-bit version of iTunes 12.1.3.6.
