Q: Can the iTunes file sharing functionality be made accessible in iCloud? (so you don't have to physically connect each time you want to transfer something to or from your iMac)

HI Eric,

iTunes Match is great for iTunes but it is ONLY for iTunes.

THere are a lot of other (music maling) apps which let you save documents and libraries on the iPad. Why not save the in iCloud so you can access them from any other device when needed?

App examples:: Auria, Audioshare, iSpark, Borderland, Soundscaper, ...

IT would be great if Apple added the option to save their files in iCloud. I think it would not even be difficult technically speaking.

It doesn't work in the apps I'm afraid. There's no finder on the iPad.
I hope Apple will add the file sharing folder to iCloud one day. For now I'll have to use other options (Dropbox, Onedrive, e-mail, ...)
