Q: I need help with adding more storage

My phone has reached its limit and I can no longer use any applications or even open my photo library to delete photos and create more space. Everything closes when I try to open it up. I'd like to add storage and pay for this each month,but I can't figure out how to do this on my device or online. Please help!

    It is not possible to add physical memory to an iPhone.

     

    You can get additional iCloud storage, but that won't help you with the problem you are describing.  If you still want to persue that option, here are 2 linksw that may help:

    You need to resolve the problem on the phone itself. Adding more iCloud storage will not help until you can delete content on the phone. iCloud storage is only for backups anyway, not for off device storage.

     

    Go to Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Storage>Manage Storage. Let all of your apps load on the screen. Delete anything in there that you don't need or don't use to make more room. You can delete movies, TV Shows, & apps. Most content can be downloaded again for free as long it is still availabe in the store in which you purchased it.
