Q: How do I reset a mailbox password?

A little squiggly mark has appeared next to of my mailboxes and the message appears when I click on it that I need to enter a password for that account.  When I enter the password the message changes to tell me it doesn't recognize the user name or password.  I've tried every password I have and guess i need to reset the password for this mailbox but don't know how.  Can someone help?  I'm running the latest version of El Capitan on a late 2009 tower.

Thanks you.

Go that website and change your password there.  If it's a Gmail account, you'd need to do it through Google.  If it's Yahoo, go to Yahoo.  If it's AOL....you get the picture.  Once you update your password for that account, open Mail again and input the new password.
