Q: Links from Amazon work in Chrome but not Safari

I have my own website built with WordPress where I provide links to Amazon.com for books I recommend.  When I view any of my book pages in Chrome, the images show up and the links work just fine.  In Safari, the images and links show up as little gray squares.  Is it a bug in Safari?  A bug in the code provided by Amazon?

The code for the images comes from my Associates page on Amazon.  It's pretty straightforward, so I don't understand why Safari can't format it correctly.  Here's a sample:
